Happy Friday everyone:) Why is that a four day week feels even longer than a regular five day week? I am soooo ready for the weekend! This week we booked a couple of camping trips to Jasper during the Summer, they book up pretty fast so it’s better to book early! Anyways, it’s time for my February favourites, and there’s a bit of a mix in there but sure that’s what this monthly post is all about:)
My Regular Blog Posts
I pretty much spend all my free time in front of my computer or phone or with a paper or pen in my hand, but honestly I am really enjoying doing these regular blog posts. Once I said it out load and put it out there for everyone to see, it somehow made it easier to achieve! I have been getting some really nice messages on my Motivational Monday posts which is sooo nice:)
Happy Friday everyone:) Am I the only person who thought January was a fast month?! Anyway this month brings us Valentines Day, so if you are planning to spoil your other half with a romantic homemade dinner, then I have the perfect dessert to go with it:) Or if you couldn’t give two hoots about Valentines Day, but want to make a delicious dessert to eat while binge watching Netflix, then I still have the perfect dessert for you! A no bake baileys and maltesers cheesecake…yum.
It’s Friiiiiday, whoohoo!! Eh, and this is the last Friday in January, WHAT?! With that thought I decided that I would make the last Friday of each month a rundown of what I have loved throughout that month. This will be absolutely anything from films, to places I have been, to restaurants, to makeup and clothes…you get the idea:) So let’s get right into my January favourites!
I did buy this bag last month but I just had to include it as I love it even more this month, maybe because I have been actually using it! Just look at it. Seriously though, ain’t she pretty!! Maybe you think the pattern resembles your Granny’s couch too much?! This is a small bag and there was a larger one with the same pattern that I may regret not buying instead…:( You can find it here.
After a slight hiatus of my blog, I’m back and my first post of 2018 is the 5 Things I Hope to Achieve in 2018. I cannot believe how quickly 2017 went, which makes me more determined to make the most of this year as time is flying by!
Have you made a list of aims or resolutions for 2018? There is something about putting pen to paper and seeing what you want to achieve written right there in front of you. It somehow makes the things you want to achieve like they actually really are achievable…if that makes sense?! My list is pretty short and sweet but it may encourage you to make a list of your own 🙂
A little late but here it is! Did you complete a Spring goal list? If you did how did you get on? I looked through my Spring goals and got through or attempted almost all of them! But that’s ok if there’s more to do, because I am determined to keep trying!
1. Get Fit!
I would like to be able to go up and down the stairs without getting out of breath! My fitness levels are at ZERO! I am determined to get my arse in gear during the Summer and be able to enjoy some hikes when we go camping. Plus it’s good for the mind. Before we went home for a visit in May I did start and did three weeks of different fitness classes and it was definitely helping. Unfortunately I haven’t got back into it just yet!
