Welcome back to this weeks blog post😊 This week I am sharing what are my 14 essentials for our little lady from when she was a newborn right up to 6 months old. To be honest, a lot of stuff on this list will be used well after she is 6 months old!This is a very basic list and there is nothing too extravagant in there. I am sure some of what I have listed below is pretty obvious to many but I’m sharing it anyway! Truth be told, those first couple of months, you really don’t need too much. Once your baby is feed, warm, has a clean bum and gets lots of cuddles then they have all they need.
Needless to say the first few weeks pass by in a blur of feeding, burping, nappies and baby cuddles so I thought I would share 6 tips for surviving the first two weeks with a newborn. It is really a time where day and night are the same. It’s got to be hard for little babies, been all snuggly and warm in the womb and then WHAM, there they are out in the big bad world! Its an adjustment for babies for also an adjustment for Mam and Dad too. The first couple of nights in particular can be quite hard, but just remember, they are hard for everyone!
In some way or another there are many ways that we can be a little more sustainable in our day to day lives. If we all make some small changes, this can help make a big difference. We have all heard of the easiest changes – reusable coffee cup, reusable water bottle, reusable bags and not using plastic straws. As simple as it is to make these changes, we should acknowledge that these little changes can make a difference! But we know that there are sooooo many other ways that we can do our bit for the environment. I have been a lot more conscious of my impact on the environment the last couple of years and have made lots of changes. Then while I was pregnant, I thought ok, I need to start looking into ways that I can be sustainable as a Mum and well, there are lots of ways you can be!
