Hi everyone and finally after three weeks off I am back with a new post! I was enjoying myself too much at home with my family in Ireland that I didn’t stress out about posting and just relaxed and a lot of fun instead:) I am looking forward to getting back to regular posting again though! This weeks post, just happens to be falling on the last week of May, so I am sharing with you my May favourites, I hope you enjoy:)
You really don’t appreciate something until it’s no longer there, and man there is nothing better than been close to a beach. We are so lucky where we live in Leitrim that there are so many beautiful beaches close by. My sister loves walking on the beach so of course we went to a couple of them, Rosses Point and Lissadell, which I hadn’t been to in years! I also made a quick stop at Rossnowlagh beach with my sister in law so I definitely had my fill of beaches when I was home:)
The Greatest Showman
I did a poll on my Insta stories and asked if anyone had seen and the movie and the majority of people haven’t. I watched this film on the plane on my way back to Canada. My brother in law had talked about it and said it was very good, and OH MY GOD, he was so right it is absolutely brilliant and I think is now one of my favourites! Now, I don’t like musical’s normally, so I was a little hesitant, but after it ended I was seriously tempted to watch all over again! (I didn’t, though instead I watched Molly’s Game, another very good show!). The music is brilliant and it really is a feel good film. All I am going to say is JUST GO WATCH IT!!
Hands down the nicest smelling fake tan I have come across! Let’s be honest most of them smell God awful, this one actually smell like flowers:) If you are looking for an instant, dark tan, then this is not the one for you. If you are looking for a natural golden glow that will develop over a few hours type of tan, then this is exactly what you want. I have to say I was very impressed with this tan. I am not an expert at applying it and I always normally end up streaky with really dark knuckles and ankles, and when you apply this tan, its clear so there’s no real guide to show where you have missed so I expected to look like a complete ejit altogether! Guys…there were no streaks with this stuff, NONE AT ALL!!
A new favourite! So much so that after reading the hard copy, I have just downloaded the audio version! Although the advice is similar to that in most self help books, I really like the way this was written. It really is a book to get you motivated and inspired and it will definitely be one to re-read. She has lots of great quotes throughout the book that are great to refer back to: “So often, we pretend we’ve made a decision, when what we’ve really done is signed up to try until it gets too uncomfortable” – Jen Sincero
That’s it for this months favourites!
