Happy Monday everyone! Today I am sharing some motivational books that are on my to-read list. I thought I would share these with you as I really enjoy these types wellness/business books and they are really great way to get some words of encouragement and read the story behind those who have succeeded. Obviously, as I read these books, I will be reviewing them individually on my bi-weekly ‘what’s on my nightstand’ posts, so keep an eye out for them, but I thought that you might like to get a head start and I would also love any recommendations that you might have!
Now I know reading is not for everybody, maybe you struggle with it or just don’t have the time. I was chatting my sister recently about this she said, and I quote, “I would rather eat the book than read the f*@king book”. Enough said. You could consider audible books. You can listen to these anywhere, while you’re in the car, making dinner, cleaning the house or out for a walk. I haven’t tried any audible books yet, but if I do I will let you know how I found them!
*Disclosure: If you click on any of the links in this post and purchase any books through these links provided then, at no additional cost to you, I do receive a small percentage of the sale!
Now, let’s get straight into what’s on my to-read list!
How to Win Friends and Influence People, Dale Carnegie
This book has been around for YEARS and is still hugely popular. The general jest that I am getting from it is how to get exactly what you want, but how to do it in a nice way and become a better person at the same time!
Losing My Virginity, Richard Branson
This is another book that has been around for a while, twenty years to be precise. Richard Branson has released a lot more books since then, but I really wanted to read this one! I would love to hear if you have read it!
Relentless, Tim S. Grover
Tim Grover is a personal trainer to some of the biggest NBA players. In this book he focuses on the mental approach to training and how to achieve what you want and never give up, how to be relentless.
Here are a few more books that are on my list. I am currently reading Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert so stay tuned for that review!
Thanks so much stopping by:)
