Hi everyone! This week’s book review has already been released on the big screen, so you may have either seen the film or read the book. It is a memoir by Jeannette Walls called The Glass Castle.
How do you feel at the end of a long hard day or week? Uptight? Tense? Are you sitting at your desk at work or writing a paper for college and thinking that you might want to throw your computer out the window? We have all been there, whether it’s work, kids or just the madness of life in general. Sometimes counting to ten just doesn’t work! If you saw my Instagram stories last week you would have heard me rant a little when my website was not cooperating for me, which is why I have compiled a list of my top tips to de-stress. These are not ground breaking new ideas, they are just small tips and tricks that I like to use every now and then:)
Happy Friday everyone:) Am I the only person who thought January was a fast month?! Anyway this month brings us Valentines Day, so if you are planning to spoil your other half with a romantic homemade dinner, then I have the perfect dessert to go with it:) Or if you couldn’t give two hoots about Valentines Day, but want to make a delicious dessert to eat while binge watching Netflix, then I still have the perfect dessert for you! A no bake baileys and maltesers cheesecake…yum.
Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend:) I had a lego building, transformer playing, Shrek watching weekend with my little nephews and Sunday was a day of getting organised and chilling out. So as I sit here writing this post, I think how we normally go into panic mode on Sunday’s as the weekend is nearly over and Monday looms before us. With that, I thought that sharing 5 ways to be more optimistic would be a great way to start the week. These are tips that I remind myself of all the time and I share these not as an expert in mental health and wellbeing, but I am just simply sharing what works for me:)
